Honor the Lords Supper

The Lord's Supper is designed to honor the Lord; those who partake in it in an unworthy way bring judgement upon themselves. The Bible teaches that God looks upon our heart in all things. Certainly it is no less true as we participate in the corporate meetings as His body in our congregation. Life presents us with many challenges and certainly one of them is in our relationships with others, family, friends, fellow believers, non-believers, etc. Curtis reminded us that we in the church are to have unity between us. Factions, divisions, and held grudges do not please God and they will bring His judgement on our heads if we don't seek to get, and practice forgiveness with each other. Hope Fellowship has always taught that we must love each other as Christ has loved us, and we must live this out as we are a witness to the unsaved that God sends to us.
